Shot Through A Window is a blog containing thoughts about films. The plan is to update it reasonably often, since I do tend to visit the cinema with alarming frequency. Why should you want to read it? Good question, but you’re here now anyway.

Comments would be very gratefully recieved if anything grabs your interest. You can even subscribe via email, should the mood take you, by using the box on the right.

The idea for ‘Old Films, Five Words’ came from my friend, the screenwriter Joseph D Meegan. Other exciting features will be introduced when I think of them.

The image above is from Oldboy, by Park Chan Wook, and the blog name taken from the opening scene of Caché by Michael Haneke. Needless to say, they’re both wikid.

'Maybe the camera was in a car?' 'It doesn't look shot through a window.' 'Someplace on that house maybe?'
